Qi Gong (pronounced “chee-gung”) is a mindful practice combining Chinese medicine, martial arts and philosophy that aligns breath, movement and awareness for healing and meditation. The Chinese have long practiced Qi Gong (which moves the Qi, or vital life force, through our bodies) as a direct pathway to better health, longevity and supreme joy.
If you ask most sages and masters of Qi Gong or Tai Chi, they’ll tell you that time doesn’t even exist, and that the foundation of everything isn’t time, it’s ENERGY. Isn’t it ironic that our society is so concerned about having more time to do the things we want to do? We always hear — “Oh if I only had more time.” “There’s never enough time.” How funny that so many people are putting so much effort into time management… But who is talking about energy?
Even in spiritual circles, we don’t hear anyone speaking of cultivating energy, we mostly hear talk of abundance, meditation, connection, manifestation, loss of self. All of these things are important, but what about ENERGY? When you build energy or have more Qi, all of your experiences will shift. You are suddenly able to have greater connection, greater manifestation, you get more done, AND people show up or become available at the right times to help.
When you invest in your Qi, little miracles start happening and you feel like you have more time, energy and support. Energy brings possibilities. Everything that you want to bring into your life – love, friendship, success, abundance, money, health – all of these things seem to come almost seamlessly when we have Qi.

8 minutes in the morning… and you’ll experience increased energy for the rest of your day. You won’t want to miss a day. Add an additional 8 minutes in the afternoon to ward off that 3-4pm “drain.” Suit the practice to your schedule. Those 8 minutes invested will reap rewards.
